Mold Infestation in a Canoga Park Kitchen

The mold growth was allowed to continue until the musty odor, and rotting cabinets could no longer be tolerated. Our SERVPRO of Canoga Park / West Hills AMRT applied microbial remediation technicians arrived, assessed the damage and began the demolition of this kitchen. The Before Photo depicts the removal of the mold-infested building materials and the cabinets. Careful use of HEPA filtration vacuums and wrapping the contaminated waste materials was carried out carefully to avoid cross-contamination into other areas of the home. After the cleanup was completed, a strong antifungal agent was sprayed into the wall cavities and other surface areas. The After Photo illustrates a brand new, sweet-smelling kitchen, far exceeding our customer's expectations.
