Canoga Park Flooded Service Area

This flooded service area to a major condo in Canoga Park happened again. See the once patched drywall on the right-hand side of the Before Photo. Our SERVPRO ASD applied structural drying technicians set up a portable sump pump to remove the bulk of the water. The soaked, non-salvageable drywall was again cut out and discarded. The After Photo depicts a dried out previously underwater service corridor. The air movers and dehumidifiers have been removed after about four days to ensure the concrete floor and wall were dried. Measuring with moisture meters, we documented the final result for insurance purposes. The management company received a consultation from our SMR sales and marketing rep on the value of enrolling in our ERP Plan. This Emergency READY Profile is a program, with a mobile app, that is at the fingertips of persons in charge in case of any water or fire emergency. The program includes identifying problem areas, water cut-off valves, and a host of other relevant entries to help prevent and, if needed, to mitigate future damages.
